Rati Agnihotri's Husband Takes Evasive Action

Rati Agnihotri’s estranged husband Anil Virwani has moved Court seeking anticipatory bail against two of her FIRs.
The actress filed the first FIR on March 14, 2015, under the sections 498 A, 350, 342, 323, 504 and 506 for domestic violence with CrC No. 120/15. She filed the second one on April 26, 2015, under the sections 506 (2) and 504 for cruelty with CrC No 198/15.
On Wednesday, SpotboyE.com brought you the story that the couple is headed for divorce. A source close to Anil says, “Rati and Anil's marriage has no history of marital discord, hence this matter will first have to go through mediation. which is expected to happen on May 12."
Mediation involves the use of an independent and qualified third party to help couples talk through how they will divide their assets or decide what to do with their children. Legal advice from a solicitor can form part of the process.
When contacted, Rati said, "I have no idea what that man is doing."
Anil, who is being represented by advocate Satish Maneshinde, simply said, "I can't comment on this right now."
Rati and Anil have been married for 30 years.
